1. Introduction
Infomotive Ltd, trading as AutoCheck (hereinafter "the Company", "we", "us" or "our"), is committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store and protect your personal data when you use the Vehicle History Check platform (hereinafter "the Platform"). It has been drafted in accordance with:
- Regulation (EU) 2016/679 – General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- The Republic of Cyprus Law No. 125(I)/2018
Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with its terms, please do not use the Platform.

3.3 Data from Third-Party Sources
If you register or sign in via a social media account (e.g. Google), we may receive basic profile information (name, email address) solely for the purpose of creating your account. The legal basis for this processing is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). This data is retained for as long as your account remains active.
We never collect special categories of personal data (sensitive data under Article 9 GDPR), such as health information, racial or ethnic origin, or political opinions.

Note: Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) is used exclusively for optional services such as newsletters, social media login and advertising. Processing that is necessary for the performance of a contract does not rely on consent and is not affected by any withdrawal of consent.
5. How We Use Your Personal Data
We use your personal data for the following purposes:
- Providing and maintaining your account on the Platform
- Generating and delivering vehicle history reports
- Processing payments for services requested
- Providing customer support and resolving disputes
- Improving the Platform through anonymised usage analytics
- Sending newsletters and promotional communications (only with your explicit consent)
- Complying with legal and regulatory obligations
6. Data Storage and Security
All personal data is stored on secure servers located within the European Union. We implement the following technical and organisational security measures:

8. Disclosure to Third Parties

Anonymised, non-personally identifiable statistical data (e.g. platform usage metrics) may be used for internal analytical purposes only.

We use cookies to improve your experience and ensure the correct functioning of the Platform. The following categories of cookies are used:

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites. The Company accepts no responsibility for the privacy practices or content of those websites. We recommend that you review the privacy policy of every website you visit.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). In the event of any dispute arising from this policy, the courts of the Republic of Cyprus shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
The Company reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time. In the event of material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The date of the most recent update is displayed prominently at the top of this policy. Your continued use of the Platform following the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
