Prior to payment, the available data to be included in the report is presented to the user. This ensures full transparency, allowing the user to decide whether they wish to proceed with the purchase.
AutoCheck acts as a bridge for accessing official and third-party databases. If the source data is incomplete, a refund cannot be issued, as the data retrieval and processing service has been successfully executed.
1. Refund Eligibility
We strive for technical excellence and the reliable provision of information. Refunds are assessed based on the following criteria:
1.1 Valid Reasons for a Refund
- Duplicate Purchase: If you accidentally purchase a report for the same vehicle (Registration Number) more than once at the same time or within a very short timeframe.
- System Technical Error: If a technical error on the platform prevents us from providing you with access to, or the ability to download, the report you purchased.
- Totally Empty Report: If the generated report is completely blank and contains absolutely no data for the specific vehicle.
1.2 Invalid Reasons for a Refund
- Data Limitations: Incomplete information (e.g. mileage at time of import, country of first registration, etc.) or inaccuracies in data provided by external sources (e.g. incorrect colour or model year recorded by the competent authorities).
- Incomplete Report Sections: Instances where certain data points are unavailable due to limitations within official or external databases.
2. Before Requesting a Refund
In the event that you have not received your report, please check the following within 10 minutes of purchase:
- Spam Folder: Ensure the email has not been filtered by your provider.
- AutoCheck Account: Log in to your account to check if the report is available for viewing or download.
- Network Connection: Confirm there are no issues with your internet connection.
3. Non-Refundable Circumstances & Customer Responsibility
- Change of Mind: Refunds are not granted if you decide you no longer need the report after the purchase is complete.
- Data Discrepancies: Refunds are not granted due to discrepancies between the report and your personal knowledge of the vehicle (third-party source data).
- Accuracy of Details: The customer bears the responsibility for the accuracy of the Registration Number entered.
4. Refund Request Procedure
To request a refund, you must contact us within seven (7) days of the purchase date. Please email support@autocheck.cy with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:
- Full Name and Email Address
- Vehicle Registration Number or VIN
- Date of Purchase & Report ID (if available)
- Specific reason for the request
5. Processing and Decisions
We will review your request within seven (7) business days. You will receive an email notification regarding the decision (Approval or Rejection). If approved, the refund will be processed via the original payment method.
6. Waiver of Right of Withdrawal
By completing the purchase and the immediate creation of the digital report, the customer acknowledges that the service is provided immediately at their request. Consequently, the customer agrees that they waive the right of withdrawal provided by European legislation (Directive 2011/83/EU) for purchases of digital content.
7. Policy Amendments
The company reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon being posted on the website.
