1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AutoCheck website and platform, accessible at autocheck.cy (collectively referred to as "the Platform"), owned and operated by Infomotive Ltd, a company registered in the Republic of Cyprus (hereinafter "the Company", "we", "us" or "our").
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all associated documents referenced below. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.
2. Associated Documents
These Terms are supplemented by the following documents, which form an integral part of the agreement between you and the Company. You are encouraged to read each document carefully:

In the event of any conflict between these Terms and any associated document, these Terms shall prevail unless expressly stated otherwise.
3. Eligibility and Age Requirement
To purchase or use services on the Platform, you must be at least 17 years of age. By accessing and using the Platform, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 17 years of age, you are not authorised to use the services offered by the Company.
By using the Platform, you also confirm that you are using the services for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
4. Platform Services
The Platform provides a paid service granting access to vehicle data through approved interaction with the Department of Road Transport (DRT) of the Republic of Cyprus Government, for informational purposes only.
You acknowledge that:
- The Company does not control the accuracy of data entered by unaffiliated individuals or third-party data providers.
- The Platform may include links to third-party websites related to motoring services or government sources for your convenience. The Company does not endorse their content and provides no guarantee or representation as to their suitability or quality.
- All vehicle data provided through the Platform is subject to the limitations described in the Data Disclaimer.
5. Geographic Coverage
The Company's data sources are limited to vehicles registered within the Republic of Cyprus. Our services apply exclusively to vehicles registered in Cyprus. We do not provide coverage for vehicles registered outside the Republic of Cyprus.
6. Vehicle Reports
6.1 Valid Cyprus Registration Requirement
To generate a report through the Platform, the vehicle must hold a valid Cyprus registration plate and must be actively registered in the government database. The Company does not provide reports for:
- Vehicles without a valid Cyprus registration
- Vehicles not present in the active government database
- Vehicles that have been deregistered or withdrawn from service
Note: The Company does not have access to information regarding deregistered or withdrawn vehicles. Users are advised to verify the current and valid registration status of the vehicle before requesting a report.
6.2 Report Generation
Upon confirmation of the vehicle's basic information and successful receipt of full payment, the Company will make the report available to you promptly. Prior to payment, the available data fields that will be included in the report are displayed to you, ensuring full transparency before purchase.
6.3 Permitted Use of Reports
Reports are provided exclusively for your personal use and solely for the purpose for which they are made available. Reports are delivered electronically. You are permitted to retain one electronic or printed copy of the report for personal use.
Beyond these permissions, you may not use, reproduce, modify, adapt, transfer, resell or otherwise re-use the whole or any part of a report for any purpose without the Company's prior written consent.
If you are a business entity, in addition to the above, you may print up to three copies of a report for display on your premises and provide printed copies to prospective purchasers.
6.4 Limited Validity
Each vehicle report is provided for informational purposes only and is valid as at the date and time of its generation. The information contained within a report reflects the status of the vehicle at the time of issue and may not accurately reflect the current condition of the vehicle at a later date. The status of a vehicle is subject to change due to various factors including, but not limited to, accidents, modifications, changes in ownership, and regulatory updates.
Users are advised not to rely solely on a report when making a vehicle purchase decision. An independent physical inspection and professional advice are strongly recommended.
6.5 Report Availability and Delays
The Company endeavours to make reports available immediately following confirmed payment. In the event of a delay caused by factors outside our control, such as technical outages or third-party data source interruptions, the Company will notify the affected user promptly and take all reasonable steps to minimise the impact of the delay. Whilst we are not liable for such delays, users are encouraged to contact us if a significant delay is experienced.
6.6 Multi-Report Packages
The Company may offer multi-report packages whereby users pay upfront for a set number of reports. Upon purchase, a coupon code will be issued, valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. All reports included in the package must be requested within this 12-month period. Upon expiry, any unused report credits will be forfeited and no refund will be issued for unused credits.
6.7 Ownership of Reports
You acknowledge that the Company, together with its licensors, owns all intellectual property rights in the reports, including but not limited to copyright in the layout, composition and presentation of the information contained within them. These Terms do not transfer any ownership of the reports to you. Reports may contain information licensed to the Company by third parties.
7. Charges and Pricing
Use of the Platform is subject to charges for each report requested. Prices for our services are subject to change at any time without prior notice.
The Company is under no obligation to provide a report until:
- You have submitted your order for a report,
- Full payment has been made, and
- Your payment has been successfully processed.
You acknowledge that your payment details for reports ordered through the Platform are received by us and may be passed to a third-party payment processor solely for the purpose of processing your payment. You must agree to that processor's terms of use. The Company does not store your full payment details on its servers.
8. Platform Availability
You acknowledge that the Platform relies on internet connections and communication networks for its availability. Whilst the Company endeavours to ensure continuous availability of the Platform, we cannot guarantee that the Platform, website or reports will be available at all times. We accept no liability for any loss or inconvenience caused by the unavailability of the Platform where this is due to factors outside our reasonable control.
9. Intellectual Property
All materials displayed on the Platform, including without limitation all information, text, graphics, software, tools, results generated through the use of software and tools, advertisements, names, logos and trademarks (collectively, "Content"), are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws, unless expressly stated otherwise on the Platform.
You must not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, frame, download, upload to third parties, publish, transmit or distribute any Content in any way, except as expressly permitted under these Terms or with our prior written consent.
All intellectual property rights in the AutoCheck brand, services, databases and reports (including data, design, appearance and format) are owned by Infomotive Ltd. You acknowledge that the use of any third-party intellectual property rights on the Platform is subject to licence from the respective rights holder.
10. User Content
You may submit content to the Platform, including reviews or ratings (collectively, "User Content"). You retain all ownership rights in your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute and translate your User Content in connection with the Platform and our services.
You are solely responsible for your User Content and warrant that you hold the necessary rights to grant the above licence. You must not submit User Content that is unlawful, defamatory, misleading, or that infringes the rights of any third party.
11. Data Disclaimer
Vehicle data provided through the Platform is sourced from official government databases and third-party data providers. It is provided for informational purposes only and does not replace an independent physical vehicle inspection. Before making any purchase decision, you are strongly advised to seek professional advice and conduct an independent inspection.
The Company does not guarantee the accuracy of data sourced from third parties, including government databases. For full details, please refer to the Data Disclaimer document.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The content of the Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The Company makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the Platform or the accuracy, completeness or suitability of the information provided. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company disclaims all warranties, express or implied. The Company does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses or other harmful components.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the Platform, including direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages, loss of profits, loss of data, or any other losses, whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, even if the Company has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits the Company's liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Company, its officers, directors, employees, agents and licensors from and against any and all claims, damages, costs, losses or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.
15. Account Security and User Obligations
When using the Platform, you agree to:
- Keep your username, password and any other login credentials confidential and secure at all times
- Not transfer or disclose your credentials to any third party
- Notify the Company immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account
- Be responsible for all activity conducted through your account
At the Company's request, you agree to promptly provide any information or assistance reasonably required to ensure the proper use and security of the Platform.
16. Termination
The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or misuse of the Platform. Upon termination, all licences granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease.
17. General Provisions
17.1 Assignment
The Company may transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation. We will always notify you in writing if this occurs and will ensure that the transfer does not adversely affect your rights under these Terms. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms to any other person without our prior written consent.
17.2 Severability
Each provision of these Terms operates independently. If any court or competent authority determines that any provision is unlawful or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
17.3 Waiver
Any failure by the Company to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of these Terms shall not be construed as a waiver of any right or remedy. No waiver by the Company of any breach shall be considered a waiver of any subsequent breach of the same or any other provision.
17.4 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with all associated documents referenced in Section 2, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company in relation to your use of the Platform and supersede all prior agreements, representations and understandings.
17.5 Third-Party Rights
This agreement is between you and the Company only. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of these Terms.
18. Changes to These Terms
The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. In the event of material changes, we will notify users by email or by displaying a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The date of the most recent update is displayed at the top of this document. Your continued use of the Platform following the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Cyprus.
